There are new items and old favorites that we have had recent requests for. Our
Geoscience Group continues to be the choice of field professionals world-wide. The very
popular Notebook Covers have introduced Gfeller leather goods to a new market group.
We note many crossover purchases from customers that selected one or more of our
notebook covers. Our Field Cases and Belt Pouches make great cross-over equipment.
They are just right for carrying the essential items (notebook, writing tools and accessories)
any outdoor enthusiast could need for a day in the field. If you are new to Gfeller
Casemakers or have been using our products for years, we invite your comments and
suggestions.
Custom debossing and logo application is another capability. Gfeller Casemakers
has debossing and stamping equipment to cover a wide range of applications. We can
hand stamp, deboss by single or multiple head equipment using our stock stamps or
we can deboss your logo or other design. We are available to discuss your
requirements at any time.
Another, possibly lesser known activity of Gfeller Casemakers is our Custom
Manufacturing capability. As a niche market manufacturer, we work closely with
smaller manufacturing companies to produce a “leather cover, carrier, or support
device that protects their item, protects other items from theirs or makes it easier to
use and store.” We find that our products are better suited to items that are in the
upper end of their price range, where a high quality leather item is a complimentary
feature to a quality tool. Our ideal customer benefits from our capabilities to maintain
close dimensional requirements provide timely delivery and maintain excellent quality
control. The range of production is moderate, with our best fit being repeat orders in
the range of 25-500 units on a regular to semi regular basis. If you have an interest in

We consider all sales final. If you are unhappy with any product or service you get
from Gfeller Casemakers please contact us directly. If we made a mistake we will
correct it as best we can. This may be through a replacement product or complete
refund if necessary. Our survival depends upon satisfied customers and we take that
very seriously. If you feel that one of our professionals treated you extra kindly, or went
out of their way to fill your needs we would like to hear about that too.
Dear Customers,
Our goal to hold prices to the 2010 level for this next year has been hit with another
difficulty. Please note the attached letter from Hermann Oak Leather Co., our supplier
of virtually all of the vegetable tanned leather we use. The December price increase
was absorbed by Gfeller Casemakers as we felt it our duty to help hold the line on
prices for our goods as most other products in our daily lives were steadily creeping
upwards. Now with the unexpected April 1, 2011 price increase at the door we must
adjust our prices. We do have a good inventory of leather at this time and that lower
priced leather will help us to defer our price increase until May 1, 2011.
We pledge to maintain fair and reasonable pricing as part of our commitment to helping
rebuild our national economy. Now we do not feel that our impact will be huge, maybe
not even noticeable. But we feel that correcting our current fiscal problems will not be
done in “winning the lottery” fashion, but rather in small steps that begin at grassroots
levels. And as manufacturers go, Gfeller Casemakers is about as grassroots as they
come. We love our work and the praise we receive form our customers for a job well
done. Our goal is to be your “go to supplier for Profoundly Functional leather goods” for
a long time to come.
